How do I start
Simple. Joining is free. Click on any eBid banner on this page and go to the registration page (link at the bottom of the eBid page), fill out the form, submit it, you will receive an email with a link to click. This is a simple way of verifying who you are, also it proves your email address is correct and that you are receiving emails from eBid, proving you can complete a sale.
You will be registered as a buyer to start with and be able to place bids only, so, if you want to sell, you will need to upgrade.
Choosing a password
eBid will assign you a password to begin with. You may change your password anytime you like, simply login to your My eBid at the login button placed at the top of each page and change your password in the My details section.
Your personal details
You must provide the correct details eBid ask you, as this helps the smooth running of the auctions. eBid only discloses certain appropriate information to other eBidders and will not disclose privacy information to others.
Selling
Upgrading-Registration
If you are listing an item for selling, you must upgrade your buyer account to seller or seller+.
Registration of your debit or credit card
When you upgrade your account to seller or seller+ you need to register your debit or credit card. This is currently the only method of obtaining a security subscription. The seller account requires a free validation of your card.
Seller costs
Seller costs are, for casual sellers, upgrade cost £0.00, auction listing fee £0.00, auction final value fee, 3%. Seller+ costs are, upgrade fees apply, auction listing fee £0.00, auction final value fee, £0.00.
Extras, such as Bold, Highlight, Extra photos and Extra category may be added for a few pence.
